IYSA Covid Update - Site updated by IYSA on 1/4/21
"This morning IYSA emailed both the IDPH and DCEO to clarify if what allowable sports activities are permissible based on the current COVID metrics.
At this time the state-issued mitigations from November 17, 2020 still remain in effect including:
The metrics posted on the IDPH website show many regions in the state as being eligible for Tier 2 BUT at this time the state-issued mitigations remain.
Should there be a change in allowable activities we will notify our membership ASAP.
Please note that with the mitigations currently in place, no indoor soccer activities are covered by Illinois Youth Soccer insurance at this time. We will continue to provide updates as we become aware of them."

Important: Based on these new mitigation requirements, effect November 20 at 12:01am:
All indoor sports activities are suspended and no indoor activities are covered by Illinois Youth Soccer insurance.
Non-contact outdoor practices can be held but are limited to up to 10 people or less with social distancing.
Face coverings required at all activities at all times.
