BUILDOUT LINE – The buildout line is referenced whenever the goalie has the ball for distribution, whether the goalie possesses the ball during the dynamics of the game or a goal kick.

BUILDOUT LINE – The buildout line is half the distance between the Center line and the top of the Penalty Box.

BUILDOUT LINE – The ball is live once the goalie releases the ball.  Whether it be rolled, thrown or set on the ground.   Other than a goal kick in which it is not until the goalie kicks the ball.

BUILDOUT LINE – The goalie can distribute the ball before or after the opposing team is behind the buildout line.   If a goalkeeper punts the ball, an indirect free kick should be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of the offense.
